WOODSFIELD, Ohio (AVC News) — The James Lung Cancer Screening Mobile Unit will be at OhioHealth O’Bleness Health Center-Woodsfield on Thursday, Oct. 15, offering lung cancer screenings.
Screening can help detect lung cancer at an earlier stage, when it may be more treatable.
People may be eligible for screening if they are 50 to 80 years old and are current smokers with a history of smoking one pack per day for 20 years, or former smokers who quit within the past 15 years.
Screenings are available once a year and are billed to insurance.
To schedule a screening, call 614-293-6939 or visit go.osu.edu/lungcancerscreening.
