AVC Communications Getaway Giveaway — Official Rules 

1. Sponsor

The AVC Communications Getaway Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored by AVC Communications, 4988 Skyline Dr., Cambridge, OH 43725 (“Sponsor”), in conjunction with participating promotional sponsors including King Karpet/Swim-Away Pool and Spa (“Participating Sponsors”).

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States who are at least eighteen (18) years of age as of April 1, 2026 and who reside within the Sponsor’s terrestrial broadcast area. Employees, officers, directors, owners, and management of Sponsor and Participating Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) and persons living in the same household are not eligible.

Void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

3. Definitions

• Entry Period: January 21, 2026 through March 25, 2026.

• Household: Individuals residing at the same physical address.

• Registrant: An individual who submits an eligible contest entry.

• Finalist: A registrant selected through a weekly random drawing to advance to the Grand Prize event.

4. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.

During the Entry Period, eligible individuals may enter by visiting a Participating Sponsor location designated by Sponsor and completing an official registration form. Entries must be completed in full to be eligible.

Registrants may enter weekly at each Participating Sponsor location during the Entry Period; however, once a registrant becomes a Finalist, that registrant and all members of their household are no longer eligible to become additional Finalists in this Contest.

Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, or delayed entries due to technical, human, or mechanical error.

5. Finalist Selection 

Finalists will be selected in random weekly drawings conducted by Participating Sponsors from among all eligible entries received for that week. All entries carry an equal chance of selection.

Selected Finalists will be notified by telephone and/or email using the contact information provided at registration. Sponsor will attempt notification at least two (2) times. Finalists must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and where legal, a Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of notification. Failure to return required documents within the stated time period will result in forfeiture, and an alternate Finalist may be selected.

6. Grand Prize Selection

The Grand Prize winner will be determined during a live, public event held on April 8, 2026 at the Pritchard-Laughlin Civic Center.

Finalists will participate in a Plinko-style game conducted by Sponsor. The Plinko game is a game of chance; all Finalists have an equal opportunity to win. The outcome is determined by random factors inherent in the game.

Finalists must be present to participate. If a Finalist is unable to attend, one (1) pre-designated substitute may participate on their behalf, provided the substitute:

• Meets all eligibility requirements

• Is designated in advance according to Sponsor instructions

• Signs all required releases prior to participation

If the Plinko game cannot be completed as planned due to equipment failure, weather, venue issues, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right to determine the Grand Prize winner by an alternate random method.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of becoming a Finalist and winning the Grand Prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received.

8. Prize Details

Grand Prize: One (1) cash prize of $2,500.00 USD (Approximate Retail Value: $2,500).

The prize is non-transferable and no substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize will be awarded by check no later than May 15, 2026, provided all required tax documentation is completed.

Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with prize receipt. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 if required by law.

9. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winner grants Sponsor permission to use winner’s name, voice, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and Participating Sponsors and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance or use of any prize.

Sponsor makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the prize.

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants will be used for contest administration and marketing purposes consistent with Sponsor’s privacy policy. Entrant information may be shared with Participating Sponsors. Opt-out options will be provided where required by law.

12. Winner List

For the name of the Grand Prize winner, visit YourRadioPlace.com or send a stamped, self-addressed envelope by August 31, 2026 to: Getaway Giveaway Contest Winner, AVC Communications, 4988 Skyline Dr., Cambridge, OH 43725.

13. Disputes and Governing Law

All disputes arising out of or relating to this Contest shall be resolved individually, without class action, exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Ohio. Contest is governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Damages are limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred in entering the Contest. Entrants waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, except where prohibited by law.
