Cleveland Men Arrested on Drug Charges in Belmont County









































BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (AVC News) — Two Cleveland men have been arrested following an investigation by the Belmont County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Interdiction Unit and the Ohio Organized Crime Investigations Commission.

According to WTRF, the suspects have been identified as 42-year-old Leneal Quinton Johnson and 51-year-old Jermaine Marlon Walton. Detectives said additional arrests are possible as the investigation continues.

The pair were arrested August 28, and detectives seized approximately 57 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of methamphetamine, 31 grams of raw fentanyl and an unspecified amount of black tar heroin. Authorities also recovered about $6,500 in suspected drug proceeds.

Both Johnson and Walton face charges of possession and trafficking in methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin and cocaine. The charges remain allegations, and the case is ongoing.
