Rodney L. Hart, 60, of Coshocton, was sentenced Aug. 17 after pleading guilty to one count of strangulation, a fifth-degree felony.
The court sentenced Hart to eight months in a state prison. Court records state the offense was a felony of violence and that the conduct caused physical harm to a minor.
Hart was credited with 94 days served in the Coshocton County Jail and was remanded to the custody of the Coshocton County Sheriff for transportation to a state penal facility.
Tommy L. Cassidy, 47, of Canton, was sentenced Aug. 21 after pleading guilty to two counts of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles, both fifth-degree felonies.
Cassidy received 11 months in prison on each count, with the sentences ordered to be served concurrently. The court classified the offenses as felony sex offenses involving a minor child.
Cassidy was also ordered to serve five years of mandatory post-release supervision through the Adult Parole Authority. He was credited with 45 days of jail time and remanded for transportation to a state penal facility.
The sentencing information was released by Coshocton County Prosecutor Benjamin E. Hall.
