COSHOCTON, Ohio (AVC News) — A 49-year-old Coshocton woman has been sentenced to 10 days in the Coshocton County Justice Center and three years of community control after pleading guilty to felony trespass.
Nicole L. Franks pleaded guilty Aug. 10 to one count of trespass in a habitation when a person is present or likely to be present, a fourth-degree felony under Ohio law.
Franks was sentenced Sept. 10 in Coshocton County Common Pleas Court.
In addition to the jail sentence and community control, Franks was ordered to comply with special conditions and complete any drug or alcohol evaluation recommended by her supervising officer. She was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Franks was ordered to pay a $20 monthly supervision fee and the costs of prosecution. The court waived any fines because of her indigency.
If Franks violates the conditions of community control, the court has reserved a prison sentence of six to 18 months.
Franks was given a reporting date to surrender to the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office to serve her 10-day jail sentence.
