MORGAN COUNTY, Ohio (AVC News) – The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a fraud warning about fake arrest warrant calls.
According to the sheriff’s office, a man identifying himself as Sergeant Hayes has been making phone calls to residents alleging there are warrants out for their arrest.
Officials say there is no Sergeant Hayes employed at the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, and is attempting to scam people.
