Wayne A. Dyer, 58 of Newcomerstown

Wayne A. Dyer, 58 of Newcomerstown, passed away on October 25, 2026 at Mercy Hospital.

Wayne was born December 25, 1967, in Dennison, Ohio. He graduated from Newcomerstown High School in 1986, and worked as a barber, and instructed classes in Tampa, Florida, and also worked as a paramedic for Tri-County Ambulance Service in Newcomerstown and United Ambulance Service in Dover. He was an excellent cook, and cooked at the Elk’s Lodge. He made the best steaks. Wayne enjoyed collecting model Corvettes, and Cy Young merchandise. He also loved music, and was an excellent drummer.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-three years Yvonne (Kopp) Dyer; his parents Burris and Elaine Gardner; his siblings Kevin (Federica) Gardner, Chris (Brittany) Gardner, and Michelle Gardner; his special friend Gene Tobin; and many other extended family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Lavonne Kopp, and his father-in-law Bob Kopp; and his nephew Aaron Gardner.

Private services will be held at Addy Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
