WHEELING, W.Va. (AVC News) — A Byesville man will spend more than 12 years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine in Wetzel County, West Virginia.
Christopher W. Radcliff, 56, also known as “Squeak,” was sentenced to 151 months in federal prison for methamphetamine offenses.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Radcliff was observed selling methamphetamine in New Martinsville on several dates in 2024.
During a traffic stop in Pleasants County, officers seized methamphetamine and $1,200.
The total drug weight from the sales and seizure amounted to nearly a pound and a half of methamphetamine.
Radcliff’s criminal history includes multiple drug and theft convictions.
The Marshall County Drug Task Force, a federally funded High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area initiative, investigated the case.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton Reid prosecuted the case.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the sentencing.
The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide Department of Justice initiative targeting drug cartels, transnational criminal organizations and violent crime.
