BARNESVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — The Barnesville Water Department has issued a precautionary boil advisory due to emergency waterline repairs.
The advisory applies to all service connections on South Broadway from West South Street to Hunts Avenue, as well as any other customers who experience a loss of water pressure.
The advisory will remain in effect for 48 hours after water service is restored.
Residents in the affected area should vigorously boil water for at least one minute before using it for drinking or dental hygiene.
Customers may also notice water discoloration following the repairs and are advised to use caution when doing laundry.
The Barnesville Water Department apologized for any inconvenience caused by the emergency repairs.
