COSHOCTON, Ohio (AVC News) — Six people were taken into custody Saturday evening following a narcotics-related search at a Coshocton residence.
The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team executed a search warrant at about 7:21 p.m. Aug. 8 at a home on South 8th Street.
The sheriff’s office said the warrant was the result of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Narcotics, drug-related items and U.S. currency were seized during the operation.
The names of those taken into custody are being withheld pending the filing of formal charges through the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
The investigation remains active, and additional charges may be filed.
