CAMBRIDGE, Ohio—(AVC News)–The Samaritan Center of Guernsey County is holding their annual Night in a Box awareness fundraiser on October 3rd in front of the Guernsey County courthouse.
Samaritan Center board members and supporters will spend the night on the Guernsey County Courthouse lawn in an effort to raise awareness of homelessness in the community.
Numerous area individuals, groups and businesses have signed on to support the event.
The Night in a Box begins Saturday at 6 pm, with live music, pizza and prayer, concluding around 3 or 4 am.
The Samaritan Center of Guernsey county is a local 501c9, not for profit organization helping the homeless population in the county transition to permanent, safe housing since 2008.
