Ramaswamy Visits Midtown Market In Cambridge









































CAMBRIDGE, Ohio (AVC News) — Local leaders, business owners, community members and supporters gathered Wednesday afternoon at Midtown Market in downtown Cambridge for a visit from Ohio gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.

Ramaswamy was introduced to those attending the event before speaking about Ohio, Guernsey County and his vision for the state if elected governor.

During his remarks, Ramaswamy discussed his goals for Ohio and the role he believes communities such as Cambridge and Guernsey County can play in the state’s future.

The visit came as Midtown Market is preparing to open for business in downtown Cambridge. The new entertainment and community venue features food and drinks, duckpin bowling, arcade entertainment, Tootsie Next Gen and space for community events and gatherings. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Ramaswamy’s visit gave attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the candidate and meet with him during his stop in Cambridge. He allowed for audience members to ask questions about his ideas, plans, and thoughts on matter pertaining to local and state issues.

The event was attended by a number of local community and business leaders, along with residents and supporters of Ramaswamy.

Ramaswamy is seeking the Republican nomination for governor of Ohio. The 2026 gubernatorial election will determine Ohio’s next governor.

Midtown Market is continuing preparations for its opening, which will bring additional dining, entertainment and gathering options to downtown Cambridge.
