CALDWELL, Ohio (AVC News) — The Caldwell Exempted Village Board of Education approved the purchase of a $121,205 Anatomage table during its regular meeting Wednesday.
The three-dimensional anatomy and medical education system will be used at the Caldwell health care center. The full cost of the purchase was covered by a grant from the Governor’s Office of Appalachia.
The board also approved the waiver of student fees for all home athletic events.
Board members approved a payment of $115,154.92 to the Noble County Commissioners to cover salaries for school resource officers during the 2025-26 school year.
Ashley Dailey was approved as lead mentor, while Justin Erb was hired as the junior varsity and junior high golf coach.
The board approved Beth Alloway as chairman of the Local Professional Development Committee. Members include Rusty Winland, Tad Secrest, Janae Tucker, Eli Svercek, Emma Marshall and Carey Block.
Terrie Golec received a one-year contract as a seventh- and eighth-grade English language arts instructor.
Hunter Parks, Cohen Carr and Katheryn Antill were approved as substitute teachers, while Mindy Lowe and Gerald “GB” Davis were approved as classified substitutes.
The board accepted resignations from Sheridan Archer and Brandy Waller and approved early graduation for Gavin Archer.
Members also approved the sale of a non-operational Ford tractor.
The board accepted David Carter’s resignation from the Caldwell Public Library Board of Directors and approved Judy Weisend as his replacement.
