COSHOCTON, Ohio (AVC News) — The Coshocton Community Choir will begin rehearsals this month for its 56th season, with openings available in all four vocal sections.
The 100-voice adult choir is accepting singers in soprano, alto, tenor and bass. Founder and conductor Charles R. Snyder said the group welcomes singers from high school age and older.
Rehearsals for the choir’s annual Christmas concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Coshocton. The concert is scheduled for Dec. 6.
The choir includes singers ranging from high school students to people in their 90s, with members coming from Coshocton County and communities across Ohio.
