Diana Carlene Francis, 80 of Zanesville

Diana Carlene Francis, 80, of Zanesville, died at 5:29 am on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Bickford Assisted Living of Columbus. She was born March 29, 1946, in Zanesville, daughter of the late Chester Leo and Gwendolyn (Northcott) Francis. She dedicated 30 years of her career to Prudential Insurance, where she served as office manager. She then retired from Genesis Hospital. A devoted daughter, she lovingly cared for her mother throughout her life. She had a special love for dogs and found joy in spending time baking and doing the things she loved.

She is survived by special nieces and nephews, Carrie (Greg) Whiteman, Tom (Felicia) Francis, Maria (Daniel) Hoffer, and Mary Francis; many grand nieces and nephews; and great-grand nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tom Francis; and her sister-in-law Mary Francis.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. Paul Cemetery, Sonora, with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE.
