ROSEVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — Caseworkers from the office of U.S. Rep. Troy Balderson will be available this week at the Roseville Multi-Agency Resource Center to assist residents affected by recent flooding.
Caseworkers will help residents navigate federal agencies, answer questions about available and pending resources and assist with flood recovery-related casework.
No appointment is necessary.
The caseworkers will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 25-28, at the William H. Barker Community Center, located at 13047 Karl Brown Road in Roseville.
The Multi-Agency Resource Center serves as a one-stop location for disaster recovery assistance, providing residents with access to various support services.
Residents affected by the flooding are also reminded to document their damage and losses. Officials recommend taking photographs and video of damage before making repairs when it is safe to do so, keeping detailed records of damaged property and saving receipts for cleanup, temporary repairs, lodging and other disaster-related expenses.
Damage should also be reported to local emergency management agencies so it can be included in the overall disaster assessment.

Residents are also encouraged to contact their insurance companies and begin the claims process when applicable.
Officials say residents should not delay repairs necessary to protect their safety or prevent additional damage, but should document the damage before and during repairs whenever possible.
Office hours for the week of Aug. 31 are expected to be announced Thursday.
