NELSONVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — Expand Energy and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio are accepting grant applications to support science, technology, engineering and mathematics educational activities in K-12 classrooms and schools in Belmont, Guernsey and Monroe counties.
Public school districts and educators in the three counties can apply for funding to provide enhanced STEM learning materials, opportunities and experiences during the 2026-27 school year.
Grant awards through the Expand Energy STEM Education Fund, in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, are expected to range up to $1,000, although larger requests will be considered.
Applications must be submitted online by Tuesday, Nov. 10.
During the previous grant round, the Expand Energy STEM Education Fund awarded more than $11,000 to support student learning.
