ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — Business owners impacted by recent flooding in Muskingum, Perry and surrounding counties are invited to an upcoming information session about disaster recovery assistance available through the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and Perry County Chamber of Commerce are partnering with the SBA to host the Disaster Recovery Resources Information Session from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, at EagleSticks Golf Club, 2655 Maysville Pike in Zanesville.
SBA representatives will provide information about disaster recovery resources, the application process and steps businesses can take to seek assistance.
Organizers said businesses affected by flooding are encouraged to attend, even if they are unsure whether they qualify for assistance or do not have flood insurance.
The session is intended to help connect local businesses with available resources as communities continue recovering from recent flood damage.
Business owners and representatives can register for the event through the SBA or the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce.
