MCCONNELLSVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 20-year-old McConnelsville woman who has been missing since Aug. 15.
Cambrea Rose Rayburn is described as a white female, 5 feet, 4 inches tall and approximately 107 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She is associated with an address on North State Route 60 in McConnelsville.
According to the sheriff’s office, Rayburn is known to spend extended periods of time outdoors and has previously spent three to five days in the woods behind her residence.
Authorities said Rayburn considers herself a survivalist and left her residence with what her family described as a survival pack. The pack reportedly included a winter coat, poncho, bath towel, filter straws and clothing.
The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, K-9 “SOOGA” and MW Drones using a thermal imaging unit, has conducted multiple searches of the surrounding area.
Despite those efforts, Rayburn has not been located.
The sheriff’s office has issued a statewide BOLO notification requesting a well-being check if Rayburn is located and said the notification has national reach when queried by law enforcement.
Anyone who has seen Rayburn or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office at 740-962-4044.
Authorities are asking anyone with information or a possible sighting, even if it seems insignificant, to report it as it could help locate Rayburn and ensure her safety.
