BARNESVILLE, Ohio–The Barnesville Water Department reports that they have issued a Precautionary Boil Advisory.
The Boil Advisory has been posted due to emergency waterline repairs for all service connections on South Broadway, from West South Street to Leatherwood Pike and any other customers that experienced a loss of water pressure on Thursday.
Water should be boiled vigorously for at least one minute before human consumption including dental hygiene use.
The Boil Advisory, put into effect Thursday afternoon is in place for 48 hours, once water service has been restored.
Residents my also notice water discoloration and should be cautious when doing laundry.
The Barnesville Water Dept. apologizes for any inconvenience that these water line repairs may create for their customers.
