President Trump to campaign in Western Ohio Saturday









VANDALIA, Ohio—(AVC News)—President Trump will be in the Buckeye State on Saturday in support of Senator Jon Husted’s election campaign.

The president will hold a rally in Vandalia, at Butler High School Saturday afternoon to support Husted who if facing off against former Senator Sherrod Brown.

Husted, a former lieutenant governor, was appointed to the seat JD Vance left to become vice president.

The incumbent is opposed by former Democratic U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown as well as Libertarian Bill Redpath and Independent candidate Gregory Levy.

The President’s trip to Vandalia, just north of Dayton, is scheduled to come after late week stops in Oklahoma and Alabama. Trump had earlier vowed to campaign in 35 of the most competitive battleground races in the final sprint to November’s midterm elections.

The Ohio race is seen as vital to determining control of the Senate.
