ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol will conduct an OVI sobriety checkpoint this week as part of an effort to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
The patrol said the county where the checkpoint will be held will be announced one day before the checkpoint. The specific location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint.
Local law enforcement agencies will assist with the checkpoint.
The patrol encourages anyone planning to consume alcohol to designate a driver or make other transportation arrangements before drinking.
