ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) — Genesis HealthCare System has reached agreements with CareSource and Aetna to maintain in-network coverage through 2027, while Medical Mutual of Ohio Medicare Advantage will be out-of-network at Genesis facilities next year.
The agreement with CareSource covers its Medicaid and Next Generation MyCare Ohio plans for the 2027 calendar year. Genesis also signed an agreement to keep Aetna in-network through 2027.
However, Medical Mutual of Ohio Medicare Advantage members will be out-of-network at Genesis HealthCare System beginning in 2027.
Following the agreements, Genesis is canceling its remaining insurance information events.
