Zanesville Water Division to Issue Boil Advisory for Scheduled Maintenance

ZANESVILLE, Ohio (AVC News) – The City of Zanesville Water Division will perform a controlled water main shut down for scheduled maintenance on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Between 11 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, city crews will install a valve on Maple Avenue resulting in a temporary interruption of water service for all businesses and homes on Maple Avenue and side streets between Military Road and Northpointe Drive.

A precautionary boil advisory will be issued once water service has been restored. Customers should boil water for at least one minute before using it for cooking, drinking, or hygiene purposes.

An additional notice will be given when testing confirms the water is safe to resume normal use.

For additional information, contact the City of Zanesville Water Division at 740-455-0631.
