CAMBRIDGE, Ohio (AVC News) — The Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitors & Convention Bureau staff will attend the 2026 Ohio Conference on Travel in October as tourism professionals from across the state gather to discuss trends and the future of the industry.
The conference is scheduled for Oct. 7-9 at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington, Ohio. This year’s theme is “Stories that Move Us!”
The annual conference brings together professionals from across Ohio’s travel and tourism industry, including attractions, museums, hotels, restaurants, retailers, destination marketing organizations and state agencies.
According to the VCB, sessions at this year’s conference will cover topics including sports tourism, Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, website development, changing traveler behaviors and the use of artificial intelligence in tourism.
The conference also provides an opportunity for tourism professionals to share best practices, learn about emerging trends, celebrate award recipients and connect with other industry leaders.
VCB staff members plan to bring information and ideas from the conference back to Guernsey County as the bureau continues its efforts to promote the area as a tourism destination.
