Kay Hudson, 76 of New Concord

Kay Hudson, age 76, of New Concord, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was born on September 5, 1950 to the late Cluster J. Boyle and Leona M. (Combs) Waller in Zanesville, Ohio.

Kay graduated from John Glenn High School in 1968 and then attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She worked for the City of Zanesville as Director of Recycling and Litter until her retirement in 1993.

Kay loved taking care of animals and flowers. She loved decorating her home, both inside and out with flowering plants.

Kay is survived by her sister, Susan Roderick, and nephews, Greg Mayer and Daniel Mayer. She also leaves behind many wonderful cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hudson, Sr and sister, Mary Boyle.

In accordance with her wishes, there will be no public services at this time. Kay will be cremated and a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
