Dear Citizens of Cambridge, Ohio,
Throughout the history of our community, there have been individuals whose dedication, hard work, and love for Cambridge have left a lasting impression. Laura Bates is one of those individuals, and we believe her contributions deserve to be recognized and remembered for generations to come.
Laura devoted many years to promoting Cambridge. She was especially well known for her dedication to preserving the legacy of Hopalong Cassidy, organizing festivals, supporting local events, and helping bring visitors to our community. Her efforts helped share Cambridge’s unique heritage with people from near and far.
In recognition of Laura’s many contributions, we are seeking donations from the citizens, businesses, organizations, and friends of Cambridge to fund a commemorative plaque honoring her life, accomplishments, and lasting impact on our community.
