Antonio “Anthony” Rufat age 82, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell, OH. He was born October 3, 1944 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Antonio and Petra Flores Rufat.
Anthony had a deep love for Puerto Rican music and cuisine.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Caledonia; wife Herminia Gres; stepson Michael Gres.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Al Rufat and Anthony Rufat; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepson George Gres; sister Petra I. Torres; wife Cassandra Rufat. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be observed with no additional services to be held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
