Rita A. Dickerson, 65 of Newcomerstown

Rita A. Dickerson, 65 of Newcomerstown, passed away on October 31, 2026 at Akron General Hospital.

Rita was born April 15, 1961, in Coshocton to the late Dana and Carolyn (Charleston) Jones. She found her greatest happiness in the simple joys of life, especially spending precious time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved working on puzzles, sharing laughter, making memories, and enjoying the company of her dear friends and family. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by the people she loved. She will be remembered for the love she gave, the memories she created, and the special place she held in the hearts of those who knew her.

She is survived by her children Dana (Richard) Stull and Amy (Robert) Harrel; her grandchildren Arianna (Alex) Gardner, Gregory Harrison, Lincoln (David) Dunigan, Tyler (Kara Wright) Harrison, Larissa Stull, Cristian Gheorghiu, and Braylee Stull; her great-grandchildren Bentley Reynolds, Olivia Harrison, and Aspen Gardner; her brother Butch (Lori) Jones; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Along with her parents, Rita was preceded in death by her granddaughter Destiny Stull; and her brothers Ronald Jones and Kevin Jones.

Per her wishes, a cremation will take place. There are no scheduled services at this time.
