Jason Daniel Watkins, 45 of Cambridge

Jason Daniel Watkins, 45, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
Jason was born on July 21, 1981, in Cambridge, the son of Debra L. (Clifton) Watkins Price.
After he graduated, he moved to Anchorage, Alaska at 19. His first job was at Nye Frontier Toyota where he learned the mechanic trade. After a few years, he worked for Glacier Granite and Marble and learned that trade as a top-notch fabricator and installer where he worked for Hard Rock Designs a few years in Wasilla, Alaska before spending three months on a visa in Perth, Western Australia making a layover in Dubai where he said they have more money there than people.
Coming back to the states he lived in Washington working for Paul Trubnikov at Pacific Granite. He moved back to Ohio in 2016 and for those ten years Paul has called numerous times begging him to come back to work for him and that Jason was the best fabricator and installer he had ever had.
Jason started out in the Cub Scouts and went on to become an Eagle Scout in Troop 542 under Bob Ault, his grandpa and Scout master. In 1995, the troop has their summer camp at Treasure Island (on the Delaware River) and he was tapped out and did his Ordeal to become a member of the Order of the Arrow. He also attended the National Boy Scout Jaboree in 1997. Jason also went white water rafting down the Colorado River on his way to the Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. Those are just some of the Scouting highlights he did throughout the years.
Jason had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. He was the first one to get up and help if he saw someone struggling without even being asked. He was the one in the family to call and check on everyone else to see how they were doing, and not just his family, but his friends too. He loved cooking and always wanted to be a chef. But above all else, his three children, Robyn Aurora, Rowan Aurelius, and Andrew William were his pride and joy. He loved them with all of his heart.
Jason is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Watkins, his maternal grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Betty Ault and James “Jim” Violet “Vi” Clifton, and his uncles, Doug Ault and Dave Clifton.
In addition to his mother, Jason is survived by his sons, Rowan Watkins of Spanaway, WA and Andrew Watkins of Wasilla, AK, and his daughter, Robyn Watkins of Spanaway, WA. Also left to cherish his memory are his uncles, Chuck (Colleen Huston) Clifton of Lore City, Brad (Missy) Ault of Arkansas, and Doug (Charity) Hawkins of Palm Harbor, FL, his aunts, “Bunny” Whittle of Claysville, Cindy (Dana) Swope of Zanesville, Valerie (Gary) Taylor of Cumberland, Marla (Steve) Ault-Miller of Ruskin, FL, Denise Ault of Anchorage, AK, and Mary Clifton of Claysville. Jason also leaves behind his cousins, David Lee, Tina, Matthew, Hannah, Jasmine, David Allen, Bobbi, Tommy, Casey, Dana, Christine, Mercedes, Andrea, Gary Jr., Matthew, Mistianna, and Ayden, his half-sisters, Kiana, Kaylee, and Denile and their children, his scout family, and his special friends, Taylor (Lindsay Baytak) Conner, George Payton, Greg Conrad, and Paul Potts.
