Mark B. Withrow, 68 of Caldwell, Ohio
Mark B. Withrow, age 68, of Caldwell, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2026, at OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge. He was born May 11, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky, son of the late James “Jim” and Shirley Rogers Withrow. Mark was a 1976 graduate of Paris High School in Paris, Kentucky, and a 1981 graduate of Ohio University in Athens, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education. He taught government and social studies at Shenandoah High School, having retired in 2015 with over 30 years of service. Following his retirement, he worked at The Wilds in Cumberland, giving tours as well as managing parking and working in dispatch. He was a real estate agent for Century 21 and mowed for the Seneca Lake Baptist Assembly for 10 years. Mark coached football, basketball, and track for Shenandoah High School and coached football for Monroe Central High School, and was a sports commentator for AVC Communications. He was a man of faith who always encouraged his family to follow his example as a member of Fellowship 41 in Caldwell. He enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcats sports and The Ohio State University Buckeyes football, and was an avid reader who was studying French. Mark loved his family, and his pride and joy were his grandchildren. He loved them more than anything. In Mark’s memory, his family asks grandparents to visit their grandchildren and for grandchildren to see their grandparents. Make the trip, make the call, and take the time.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Steve Withrow.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Katie L. (Randy) Winegardner of Summerfield and Erika R. (Garrett) Chapman of Coshocton; his grandchildren, Jaylin, Sawyer, Isabella, Esther, and Brewer; his brother, Mike (Mary Ann) Withrow of Paris, Kentucky; and two nieces and two nephews.
