Iris K. Wickham, 81 of Caldwell, Ohio

Iris Kay Wickham, age 81, of Caldwell, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born February 14, 1945, in Zanesville, daughter of the late John and Flora M. “Boots” Carpenter Lisak. Iris was a 1963 graduate of Belle Valley High School. Early in life, she was employed by Hamilton Beach Scovill for several years and she retired as a bus driver for Noble Local Schools. She was a member of the Belle Valley United Methodist Church, Amazon Chapter #30, OES, and the Belle Valley Historical Society. Iris enjoyed gardening flowers and farming, cooking and canning. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending their sporting events and shopping for back-to-school clothes. She also loved to go Christmas shopping and shopping for county fair supplies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, C. Dean “Deano” Wickham, whom she married January 25, 1964, and who died April 9, 2026; and one sister, Phyllis Brumbach.

Surviving are her son, Nicholas D. Wickham of Caldwell; four grandchildren, Amber M. (Caleb) Gunn of Caldwell, Nicole C. (Mark) Green of Adamsville, and Nickolai I. Wickham (Jensen Lanning) and Charli J. Wickham (Seth Archer), all of Cumberland; five great-grandchildren, Dalila, Tucker, Landyn, Lane, and Logan; one brother, Kenneth Milton Lisak (Phyllis R. Stritz) of Caldwell; a sister-in-law, Carolyn (Dave) Sayre of Senecaville; a brother-in-law, Elvin (Janet) Wickham of Senecaville; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday, September 28, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8PM at McVay-Perkins Funeral Home, 416 East Street, Caldwell, where the funeral service will be observed Tuesday, September 29th at 11AM with Pastor Stephen Hannum officiating.
