Paul “Glenn” Frye, 79 of Dover, formerly of Newcomerstown

Paul Glenn Frye, 79, of Dover, formerly of Newcomerstown and West Lafayette, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 18, 2026 at Union Hospital in Dover.

Glenn was born on March 7, 1947, in Coshocton to the late Paul R. and Angie (Malattia) Frye.

Glenn was a 1965 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and was known as “Knute” to many of his friends. On July 7, 1968 he married the love of his life Connie (Ross) Frye. He went on to work at Duff Truck Lines in Grove City for 20 years, followed by Pretty Products in Coshocton for 19 years. Glenn was a Freemason for almost 50 years as a member of the Lone Star Lodge No. 175 of Newcomerstown. He was a skilled handyman and woodworker and loved camping, including spending nearly 8 years with his wife Connie as snowbirds near Bradenton Beach in Florida.

He is also survived by his loving wife of nearly fifty-eight years Connie (Ross) Frye; two sons, Troy Darin (Leslie) Frye of Columbus and Travis Paul (Brandi) Frye of Newcomerstown; and his grandchildren Drew and Lauren Frye, and Sidney Frye.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Angie, and his brother, Donald Frye.
