Breaking Free Therapeutic Riding Center is hosting a Duck Derby and Student Horse Show on Saturday, September 12 from 11 am to 4 pm. There will be raffles, silent auctions, and food vendors. The Duck Derby Races start at 12 pm followed by a SPECIAL EVENT, then the Student Horse Show. Tickets are $5 for a single duck or $20 for a flock of 5 ducks. Each ticket is numbered and corresponds with a plastic duck bearing that number. At noon, all the ducks will be released to the pond and will “race” to the finish. The first 5 ducks in each category (adults or children) win amazing prizes. The “Lame Duck” or last to finish in each category wins a prize as well. Its a great day for everyone involved.
