George Kistler, 58 of Newcomerstown

George B. Kistler, 58 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

George was born October 7, 1967, in Coshocton, to John and Ruth (Emerson) Kistler. He grew up in Newcomerstown, where he graduated from Newcomerstown High School and built his life, his family, and countless cherished memories in the community he called home.

George was a longtime member of LoneStar Masonic Lodge and was a man who truly loved life. He filled his days with work he enjoyed and hobbies that brought him happiness, including fishing, flying hobby planes, building custom RC crawlers, and riding his side-by-side. Most of all, George loved his family, his friends, and the people around him. He had a generous heart and was always willing to help someone else. His kindness, laughter, and love for others were simply part of who he was.

George will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his generosity, his love of adventure, and the countless lives he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and happiness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife Jolinda Kistler; his children Madison, Mackenzie (Seth) Bergeron and Molly; his grandson Parker; his siblings Kathy (Siamak) Shahbodaghi , John (Rhonda Baker), Marianne (Jeff) Burrier, Genny (Craig Wales), and Thomas (Heather); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Along with his father, George was preceded in death by his nephew Bret.
