Mrs. Mary Ellen Evans, 82 of Cambridge

Mary Ellen Evans, born January 25, 1944 in Brooklyn NY, entered eternal life on August 2, 2026 in Cambridge.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Leslie Sr. and Rosemary Anne (Leahy) Miller; her husband, John C. Evans (married July 1, 1962; died June 9, 2010); and her siblings: Arthur Leslie Miller Jr., Winifred Helen Diestel (Eugene), and Stephen Edward Miller (Cynthia).

She is survived by her siblings: Robert Kenneth Miller of Marathon FL, Daniel John Miller of London, England, Rosemary Ann Rea (Michael) of Edgewater FL, Carol Ann Miller of Indiana, and Francis Joseph Miller of Buffalo NY; and by her sons: John Arthur Miller (Kerry) of Oshkosh WI, Vince Edward Miller of Cambridge, and Roy Daniel Miller of Westerville.

Devoted to Jesus Christ, Mary trusted in God’s mercy. She is very grateful for the many friends and fellow parishioners, especially members of the St. Vincent de Paul Society, who visited and spent time with her in the days prior to her passing.

In lieu of flowers, she requested that donations be made to Christ Our Light Roman Catholic Parish. May she rest in peace.
