ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio – Governor Mike DeWine and Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine made a stop at the St. Clairsville Public Library on Tuesday to celebrate the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program.
Mrs. DeWine read a book to local kids and gifted them each with their own copy of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
Gulfport Energy Corp. in St. Clairsville was thanked for supporting the program.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth until they begin school in participating areas. Belmont County now has nearly 50 percent of kids ages 0-5 enrolled and receiving free books.
