SUMMARY:Public Vet Feline Spay/Neuter Clinics in  SE Ohio
DESCRIPTION:Public Vet\, a lower cost cat and kitten spay/neuter clinic is coming to McConnelsville\, Morgan County\, on Friday\, October 30\, 2026 and to the Old Washington Fairgrounds\, Guernsey County on Saturday\, October 31 and Sunday\, November 1\, 2026.  All cats and kittens over 6 weeks of age\, also pregnant and nursing cats are accepted from any county. Cost is $100 per feline (cash\, credit/debit card\, no checks) which includes the surgery\, tattoo and pain medicine. For Guernsey County residents ONLY\, a discount of $25 for people with limited incomes may be requested AT THE CLINIC\, no prior paperwork or approval are necessary. MUST REGISTER at their website\, Public Vet\, select  “Appointment” or “Where We’ll Be” and pick date and location of the clinic you want. There is a deposit of $10 required to reserve a spot which will be refunded the day of the clinic toward the total cost.  [Example: $100 -$10 = $90 due at clinic].  Time\, building location of clinic and pre-surgery instructions will be sent in a return e-mail. Vaccines and other services are available\, see website for pricing. Felines must be in a sturdy\, clean carrier or a trap for feral (wild) cats. Same day service: cats are dropped off from vehicle to staff and later picked up at a designated time.   No walk-ins. Please take advantage of this opportunity to help cats have a better life and no unwanted litters. Due to rising costs and other factors Public Vet is limiting visits.

DESCRIPTION:Antrim Community Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a Truck or Treat at the Fire Station on Halloween from 6 to 7 pm. Each of our emergency vehicles will be parked outside and will have a treat or trinket for trick or treaters. There will also be to-go hot dogs\, snacks\, & drinks available. There may even be a Special visitor.  In case of inclement weather\, the event will be held as an inside walk through event. Community members are welcome to set up for a Trunk or Treat in the “old station” parking lot.
