UNDATED (AP) – For the second straight night, Tyler Naquin (NAY’-kwihn) has delivered a walk-off hit for the Cleveland Indians.
Naquin hit an inside-the-park home run off Roberto Osuna with one out in the bottom of the ninth to complete the Indians’ comeback in a 3-2 triumph over Toronto. The Blue Jays were two outs from a 2-1 win until Jose Ramirez and Naquin hit back-to-back homers off Osuna. Naquin’s hit bounced off the wall and bounced back toward the infield as he rounded the bases to complete Cleveland’s seventh victory in nine games.
The Indians are a season-high 20 games over .500 at 70-50. They lead the American League Central by seven games over Detroit.
The Jays’ lead in the AL East is down to a half-game over the Red Sox.
