MORRISTOWN, Ohio — A St. Clairsville man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning near Morristown.
According to the St. Clairsville Post of the State Highway Patrol, 53-year-old William Graham was traveling southbound on State Route 149 at around 1 a.m. when he lost control of his vehicle, struck a ditch on the left side of the roadway and rolled several times. Troopers say Graham was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
The Belmont County Coroner’s Office pronounced Graham dead at the scene.
Investigators say excessive speed and alcohol contributed to the fatal crash.
