 The Whistle-Stop is owned and operated by Lori and Jerry Bates.
The decor is nostalgic with numerous old photos of local trains and
coal mines lining the walls and an animated train running by the
clock.
Whistle-Stop’s menu includes Turkey or Corned Beef Reuben
sandwiches, all kinds of different specialty foods that Lori has
dreamed up, including deep fried potato salad as a side. Lunch can
be eaten in or carry out and they’ll even deliver locally to
factories or offices if you call ahead.
 They
serve breakfast, have daily specials, homemade cheesecakes, soups, salads and
many more great items to delight your taste buds.
Lori says, “We just want people to come in and get their bellies
full.”
