CAMBRIDGE, Ohio — An engineering firm has received an honor for work completed at City of Cambridge’s Sewer Plant.
CT Consultants was given a 2017 Engineering Excellence Award for Outstanding Small Project earlier this month.
The company engineered designs for the replacement of the existing bar screen, two secondary clarifiers and replacing the existing office with a new facility with offices, a lab and a garage. Projects were judged on criteria including: original or innovative application of new or existing technique; perception by the public; social, economic and sustainable design considerations and complexity. Stanley Miller Construction was the general contractor. The City’s Engineering Department was in charge of the construction administration for the project.
The project was completed in May of 2016 at a cost of $1.5 million dollars.
