CAMBRIDGE,Ohio–A local business teams with the Guernsey Co. Sheriff’s Office and others, to bring some happiness to a young cancer victim.
Recently, the Verizon Wireless associates in Cambridge heard about a young boy from St. Clairsville, Dominic Alexander, that was recently diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Iggie Padilla, Verizon District Manager, has children that attend school with Dominic, and knows of his story.
Since Dominic is a huge fan of first responders, the store gathered many items (patches, Firefighter helmets, badges, t-shirts, toys) to gift to him.
Detective Bill Patterson from the Guernsey County Sheriffs Office recently stopped in the store to donate, as well.
The Verizon Team had t-shirts made in support of Dom.
Donations came in from Cambridge, Columbus, Guernsey County, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Cambridge Police, Antrim Volunteer Fire Department, Pleasant City Volunteer Fire Department and as far as Maumee, OH.
